CEC Document Services, one of the largest “all digital” printing centers in Colorado, has been serving the greater Denver metro area for over fifteen years. Recognizing that digital printing offers a cost-effective, quick-turn, high quality printing alternative, we at CEC pride ourselves on simultaneously delivering:

Staff Bios
Scott White
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Scott White grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado where his father was the President and General Manager of a traditional offset printing company for over 25 years.
During college Scott began his career in print services while still attending Metro State College. He started out as a Customer Service Representative and eventually moved into an Outside Sales Manager position before becoming the President and CEO of CEC Document Services in February of 2001.
A huge sports fanatic, Scott played small college football in Grand Junction, Colorado at Mesa State College and was privileged enough to have actually played in the NAIA (now NCAA Division 2) national championship game in 1990. He enjoys spending time with his family, his daughter Rochelle, son Edward, niece Dominique and his amazing wife Trina.
Scott’s philosophy for CEC is as simple as this – “CEC will provide the absolute best personal service available, while listening to all of our business partners’ needs. We will then strive to help those partners achieve and exceed all of their business goals.”
Jim Jensen
Jim Jensen grew up in the Mid-West, born in South Dakota, and lived all of his childhood in Sioux City, Iowa. After getting married, he moved to St. Cloud, MN. While living in Iowa, he joined the National Guard and when his Guard Unit was activated to go to Viet Nam, he spent about 7 months at Ft Carson. During that time Jim decided that Colorado was where he wanted to live. He and his family moved here in 1979 and he has not regretted a day of it.
Jim has been in, or associated with the printing industry since 1963. He started taking printing classes in junior high, and vocational printing curriculum during high school. While still in high school he began working for a printing company in Sioux City, and also worked during the summer for the School Board print shop. He has been associated with the traditional printing side of the business (Offset & Letterpress) for most of his life, working as a manager in many shops, and as an owner and manager of Signal Graphics stores here in Colorado. During the last few years the printing business has changed dramatically, and witnessing what was going on in the industry Jim decided to move to CEC where he is now General Manager. Adding up all of the years, it would equal 45, minus the two years for Uncle Sam.
Jim’s hobbies are fishing, bike riding, mountain trips and enjoying a good B-B-Q with family and friends. One of his favorite weekend trips is to Estes Park to visit with nature. A favorite walk would be around Bear Lake.
Jim’s business philosophy has always been the same – No matter what job you are at, treat that job as if you owned the company. Instill in your employees that it is just as easy and just as fast to make the job you are working on look great as it is to make it look just OK. Jim asks his employees to do the test that he does whenever he QC’s jobs before they go out the door; look at it, and if you would not pay for it, you certainly cannot expect your customer to pay for it.
J. Michael Szillagyi
If you’ve ever placed an order with CEC chances are you’ve dealt with J. Michael Szillagyi, who has been our senior customer service rep for over 15 years. Shortly after moving to Denver from his hometown of Springfield, Illinois, Michael began working for CEC. Outside of work he enjoys reading, collecting music, and watching films with his two cats.
Matt Allison
Matt Allison is one half of CEC’s prepress department, and has been with the company for close to 16 years. A Colorado native, Matt currently lives in Stapleton with his wife, and spends off hours cartooning and collecting rare movies.
Rick Brown
Rick Brown is CEC’s IT Administrator and the other half of the prepress team. A graduate of The Art Institute of Colorado, Rick has been a key player at CEC for over 10 years. Rick spends his free time creating design and animation projects, playing video games, and watching TV with his wife and their dog.
Matt Asher
Hailing from Pierre, South Dakota, Matt Asher is CEC’s senior press operator, having been with the company for over a decade. He enjoys spending time with his two sons, and is a seasoned guitar player.
Ricky Thompson
Ricky Thompson is CEC’s morning time pressman. Originally from North Carolina, Ricky likes spending time camping and skiing with his wife and kids in the Rocky Mountains.
Brian Sanders
Originally from Colorado Springs, Brian Sanders began heading up the bindery department at CEC in 2008. In addition to coaching, Brian spends as much time as possible with his wife and their two sons.
David Nolan
David Nolan has been making deliveries for CEC since 2009, as well as helping out in bindery. An avid basketball player, David also enjoys mountain climbing, jazz and chess.
